不错的文笔，作者的笔力体现在各个方面。详略安排上，主角周莹的家庭背景详细描写，环境的铺陈奠定了悲伤的基调。而室友张瑞琼的部分则三言两语一小段文字交代完毕，直接步入正题，很不错。除此以外，作者描写周莹叔叔婶婶时的语言十分写实，令人击节而叹
